Director James Gunn has been rehired to direct Guardians of the Galaxy three after he was once fired via Disney over decade-old tweets that joked about rape and abuse.
It comes after well-known forged individuals from the Surprise sequence signed an open letter pleading for Gunn’s go back.
In a tweet he thanked Disney and his supporters and mentioned he’s “excited to proceed making movies that examine the binds of affection that bind us all”.
He was once fired ultimate July over the tweets that Disney referred to as “indefensible”.
